Presented by: Mr. Philip Stoffregen, Esq.

Description: This course on professional ethics is designed to comply with Iowa rules (Chapter 7, section 193 7.5(1)) for biennial license renewal for engineers in professional practice. The course will be presented by Mr. Philip Stoffregen, recently retired utility attorney. He will provide a framework of professional ethics conduct relevant to engineering practice.

About the presenter: Mr. Stoffregen has an M.A. in Philosophy, and a J.D. from the University of Iowa. He taught philosophical ethics at the University of Iowa and was a part-time Assistant Professor in Industrial Engineering at Iowa State University in addition to having had a distinguished career of over 40 years in energy, public utility, and telecommunications law.
