Our group’s research is motivated by the need to address the issues related to the design and operation of modern, “smarter,” greener electric power grids.
In addition, renewed interest in electrified transportation (hybrid-electric vehicles and trains, more-electric aircraft and ships) calls for advances in the area of electromechanical energy conversion and power electronics.
